Mindful Worship Meditation #20 – Sleep In Peace
Many people have told me that they really enjoy doing the New Every Morning when they first wake up. In fact, many people wake up with it by having it automatically begin to play at a certain time. The idea behind New Every Morning was to help prepare myself for the upcoming day. This week’s guided meditation is meant to help you close out your day just as you retire for the evening and to help you Sleep in Peace.
Although it’s not necessary to do this meditation after you lay down in bed, it is written with the assumption that you will do it very close to bed time. You’ll probably enjoy doing it while you are lying down and then just drifting off to peaceful sleep at the end. If you’re listening using headphones or earbuds with wires, be sure to take them off before you actually to sleep. As always, let me know what you think about this meditation in the comments.
