Mindful Worship Meditation #16 – I Am the True Vine
Jesus included such great imagery in so much of his teaching. While the people he taught understood very well the objects and metaphors he used, today we may have to use our imagination when studying his words. An excellent example of this is when he taught his disciples,. I am the True Vine.
In this Christian guided meditation, I’ll help you to meditate on this passage and apply it as the disciples may have. If you are not familiar with vineyards and grapevines, you may find that the picture here will help you better understand Christ’s metaphor. You can click on the image to see a bigger and more detailed picture of the grapevine. You may want to imagine this as you follow along with this meditation. (Photo taken by Amy C.
