Mindful Worship Meditation #4 – New Every Morning
Recently, I’ve been thinking that it would be nice to do a guided meditation first thing in the morning, before I even get out of bed. With that in mind, I wrote my latest meditation, New Every Morning.
It’s not necessary to do this meditation while you are still in bed, but it is written with the assumption that it will be done some time early in the morning before you begin your day. Let me know what you think in the comments.
Scriptures in this meditation: Lamentations 3:22-23, Psalm 143:8, Psalm 5:3
Time: 14:41
File Size: 13.4 mb

Honestly – I LOVE the Meditations. I’ve always loved meditations but I’ve never liked how a lot of them seem new-age-ish & don’t have as much of an emphasis on the peace & calm that we can find in Jesus Christ.
You’ve done an amazing job. Thank you for the work you’ve done.

I love your meditations. My friends love them too. You truly have a gift. We as Christians need more of what you are saying. Please keep up the good work. We will spread the word.
God bless

I’ve been looking for a bible based guided meditation in a long time. Your site is an answer to that prayer. Just wish the audio system was better since there is a lot of echo. Thanks.

Susan – I’m glad you enjoy these! I noticed that the meditation you commented on (#4) was one I recorded over a year and a half a go. I think the sound quality has greatly improved. Have you listened to some of the more recent ones? What do you think?

Thank you so much for these meditations that focus of God’s promises to us. It’s been such a blessing to quiet me and focus me on hearing from the Master.

Thank you for these meditations. I’ve always wanted something like this with an emphasis on Jesus. They have been truly a blessing to me and I have even introduced my 5 year old son to them. Pls keep up the good work and may God grant you His grace.

This is my favorite so far…it touches upon all the desires of my heart for quiet yet profound communion with God “my King”, my yearnings for guidance and the encouragement of expectation…my need tactually feel and experience (not just intellectually know about) His unconditional mercy and compassion. This experiencing with His Spirit awakens my trust!

I am so glad I found your website. I have been through a period of ill health, which I still have, and the loss of my oldest son. I have been a Christian for over 30 years and have known the power of God in my life. But in recent years I have found it increasingly difficult to maintain my prayer life, both because of the way my ill health affects my ability to concentrate and also because of a sense of distance and grief since losing my son.
I have been using this morning meditation for a couple of days now and have found it such a help. It helps me to concentrate on God and experience his healing presence. After the meditation I feel refreshed and find myself going on to into intercession. but this intercession is so different from the usual intercession. It comes from a sense of peace rather than a sense of striving.
Thank you.

I’m always a little leary of “mind-ful” things, but I wanted to spend time quietly meditating on His Word. I lacked the discipline or skill to sit quietly long enough to really think through what the Spirit wants me to know. I tried your meditation; Fruit of the Spirit, Patience. My wife is doing it now. I can hardly wait to start my day.
Thank you and God bless you
